BK2 Sheath Mod. Extremely Photo Heavy

Thanks for the warm welcome i am new to becker series but fell in love the first time i held my bk2

Thx for passing along the great ideas. I have been using a custom leather sheath for my bk2 thus far but now I want to try to copy your set-up. Do the mods create any noise problems? Also, is there a tactical reason to carrying the eskabar on the same rig or is it just a way to carry another knife? I noticed it was on your left leg. I am hoping your a lefty because if not and this is your secondary set-up, the thought of your primary rig is scary :) Be safe.

Thanks. No noise problems. I copied the 14 idea from Derekh. Liked the idea of having a smaller knife for smaller tasks. Have since taken it off though. It's on my right side, the photos are in a mirror.

I hadn't seen this. Glad it got bumped. It's a sweet rig Dub. I'm guessing this was the inspiration to Sheila, or vice versa? Not sure which came first but both are a pretty wicked set up nonetheless. The closest thing I ever did was a drop leg holster for a folder that I had back in the day.

Sheila, DerekH's knife? I think he calls his BK2 Winona. Sheila is his custom. I made my drop leg first, but, there's millions of examples out there before I did mine. I had seen people mount their ESEE pouch to the sheath before too. I just came up with the idea to mount it to a web belt. At least, it was the first I had seen anywhos. Thanks for the compliment, btw.

Way back when, I had the idea in my head that I wanted to do a drop leg setup for my BK2. But after awhile of thinking it through, I figured I should give it a try on my belt first. It rode like that for quite some time, and then Dubz posted up his pics of his drop leg setup and that got me off my duff to finish my drop leg setup. Aside from the drop leg setup and how we had our BK14's attached though, the similarities end there. And yes, my custom is named Sheila, and the BK2 is Winona. Man Dubz, that is one way to know we have spent too long around here. We know the names of eachother's knives.

I knew it was winona... Why did I say sheila. My apologies Derek.

I still like your set up very much Dubz.

Warrior, your skills and creativity are incredible. Have you ever thought about providing a service creating such accessories? BTW, nice dog. What's your dog's name?

Thanks. Yes, I actually have thought about it before. I have tons of ideas I haven't seen. Haha, that dog in the mirror is a stuffed animal we keep for our grand daughter. :D

I'm at the stage of considering what mods/sheaths to buy. Please let me know if you ever decide to start providing them. BTW, I still want to know the dogs name :)

My BK5 arrived yesterday and today I used it to slice the veggies for my cabbage soup. It cut very thin slices of cabbage and onion, and yet I think Ka-Bar slipped a bit on the blades QC since it has an uneven sharpness. I'm new to blade sharpening and knife collecting so I might take it to a professional sharpener to have them do it right.

Looks Awesome. Functional, Practical, Tactical. Dont get much better than that! and you did it yourself, that makes it even better. Nice Job Warrior.

Thanks, appreciated. I need to do some other mod sometime soon.

They just need to give up and merge the Warrior sheath Mod and the Warrior BK2 clip point mod and make them a sticky.

Legendary.
