BK20- Speculation on the 450 units

I'm already in, what a good deal, three blades, free shipping and taxes included for a couple hundreds, couldn't let it pass.

I got charged $12.50 for taxes.

So my second BK20 was shipped to my brothers office in Illinois so my wife wouldn't know about it. And they charged tax on it as well. I'm a Missouri boy, I just wondered if Illinois has some sort of state tax. I didn't pay tax on he one I received in Missouri.

Doesn't surprise me. After all, I do live in the worst state in the union.

gunna have to enforce that sig rule then. no images. esp animated. esp with knives in them :D

The BK1 and BK6 are in my collection, but I have never used them (they are NIB). I have always heard that they were not the best performers, but they do have looks that kill for sure. The Bundok gives me the same visceral feeling and performs very well.

I have a user 6 and as a machete, it works very well against "typical" machete victims - grasses, clover, golden rod, salt willows, giant ragweed, small limbs up to an inch or so in diameter (even mesquite) and other such thinner targets. It does NOT perform well as a chopper of thicker limbs or trees. Can it be used as such? Yes, BUT.... you can chop down a 12" diameter china berry tree with a 1219C2/USN-MK2. Eventually. Just not quickly. And with a bunch of blisters.

That might be enough to get me to open those boxes this week, lol. Hope I got a couple of those metal signs.

As for the tax thing, does Ka-bar have facilities in those states? I knew I was paying tax on them, so there was no surprise there.

Who got something extra, beyond the 4 & 5, in their box that didn't order that extra thing?
