BK23 Skeleton

the big word "CHINA" on the side of the blade kills it for me.....jmho...not meant to inflame anyone

I actually really like the design, like a little 9 or something. But not knowing the steel, especially being that it's probably not 1095 (of which Kabar's variety seems especially capable), and being that it's not US made it'll have to be a really attractive price for me to purchase one. If it were US made and 1095 at a "usual/normal" Becker price I'd be a lot more interested.

Still, I'm looking forward to hearing what you think after more use!

I've been wondering the same thing.

Would make a nice place to start for a Becker friction folder.

The 23's are here!

@ $11.59, I would have ordered already, but the shipping is half again the cost of the knife. Will be keeping an eye out for one locally when they arrive in stores.

Made by my USA brothers I would pay double.

^Agreed.

Its an interesting enough shape, but I am not fond of the look of the handle. It looks like it might be a bit fragile.
I won't buy it purely because it is Chinese. I am not saying that it is a bad or good, but I won't buy Chinese knives on principle. Let me know what you guys think of it, though!
