BK6 Patrol Machete Passaround Discussion Thread

As part of a consolation prize in the White Box Stove contest, I sent several chunks of fatwood.
They were crazy rich with resin and had a pungent smell, and I actually wondered if it'd be okay.
However, they went through just fine.

Seems like I sent a few sticks of fatwood in W&SS contest a while back.
No problems there either.
 
went to the post office today and spoke to the guy. he said wait 14 business days from the date of shipment and if the package still doesn't turn up then i can escalate it and file a formal complaint for the issue. we'll see if it's still missing by wednesday of next week i guess.

side note: i just sent mywifethinksimcrazy and dingobubba their bk-11 and bk-13 with tracking. we'll see if they screw this one up to and if we need to release the beckerhead hounds.
 
what the f's going on with the usps. now my order from supplycaptain.com (a couple of web dominators and 2 u.s. flag patches) are lost now too. here's the tracking #: 9101010521297922057351. at least the owner is re-shipping me the stuff today while he finds out what's wrong...why do i get the feeling i pissed off a postal employee...might be related to the same person who hit my truck last friday :( if i disappear, avenge my death, beckerheads! :eek::D
 
It's Here! The wife saved the day! We received the notice in the mail and the wife coaxed the maintenance guy into opening the closed office to get it! I'll try to get my review of it done this weekend... Gonna go CAMPING!!

whoa, finally something good happened. 3 weeks of waiting! the post office took at least a year off my life...okay, i would've drunk just as much but still :p

lesson learned, ship it insured! for $100 it's only $2.50 and $200 i think is only $5...i'm relieved. whew.

usps rarely loses stuff, but still, if you can buy an american camillus carbon-v patrol machete for $100, probably better to risk saving $2.50 :) hah.

I currently have the BK6. Got it from the Post Office Wednesday. Sorry for not updating sooner, last week was really hectic for me. Wasn't able to use it over the holiday weekend, but should be able to test it out sometime this week. Am planning to take work off early Tuesday afternoon so that I can go hiking up the canyon, play with my new BK2 and the BK6. There are a lot of downed trees up the canyon and I want to see how the BK6 does against semi green Colorado Blue Spruce and Douglas fir. :) Will keep you all posted.
