The BL Goode knife:
I really liked the look of this blade first off. It just looked like the finest craftmanship I have seen.
I ran it through a couple of small tests as I was basically confined to my house and such for most of the weekend. The first test was done in the kitchen. I was making salsa so this knife got run through all kinds of veggies. Just loved how it could cut paper thin slices of peppers and tomatos. I used it to cut some roast beef and such too for lunch and it it was like using a slicer.
I then decided to test my amazing trap-making skillz

I took it out and notched some cedar that I had previously battoned with my Ka-Bar. It put together a pretty decent figure four trap, or at least my interpretation of a figure four. I am not very adept at the trap making thing.
My final test of the weekend was stripping fishing line to set up my fly rod for my next fishing trip. The knife performed great. I even managed to take a chunk out of my finger. Of course, I was telling my youngest brother how to be safe with a knife as I did it.
So...here's my thoughts on the knife:
Pros:
Cuts really well. The knife is well-built and feels stout in the hand, but is light enough and well-balanced enough for finer tasks. Of course, it looks friggin nice as well.
Cons: The handle was a little smaller than I prefer, but it was still manageable. And..I had to give it back.
Great knife. I hope y'all enjoy it as well.
