Blade 2013 Vex Availability?

I just sent her an email. It's late in the day so I imagine it will be Monday before I hear back.
 
I sent in an e-mail. No good. Per the reply there are no blanks left. No possibility. Talk about frustrated!

With all this demand you guys are making me think about putting my minty fresh satin Sr101 bruiser Vex on the trading table soon as it gets back from the swamp!!
 
Ron, some should show up on exchange after KC. Another option is the Ganza Jerry was talking about...

Well that stinks. I'm sure some will pop up on the exchange, but it would've been nice to get one in the exact color combo I want.
 
I guess a lot of people e-mailed Busse about Vex's. I got an e-mail today from them saying with so much interest they are going to look into it.

Together we can help them make a decision. Everyone needs to start trying to place orders for Vex's now and they wont change their minds HAHA

This is really good news! I hope that they do release the Vex in multiple handle options.
 
I had one of the Blade Show Vexes. I loved the knife, but I hate satin finishes. I considered sending it in to be coated but I hated the thought of ruining a good satin job, so I ended up selling it to someone who could appreciate it more. So now I'm in need of a combat grade vex.
 
See thats my issue too.... Its hard to beat on satin, And the one I have coming back from the swamp is satin with bruiser handles like this one.... It had orange/OD G10 originally and i dont care for orange so i had it sent in for bruiser scales, but now im thinking maybe I should of had it coated so id actually use it.

I'm liking the blade shapes of the Blade Show Vexes more than those from KC. Those have a bit of a recurve.
 
Ah yes I just notice some for sale in the exchange right now with coated blades and I see the recurve now, not a fan of that recurve.. the Vex had a perfect drop point i dont know why they would change it.

Ah now ill be less likely to ever part with my satin one if the new ones all have recurves
 
I still have that ffg RMD that I need to figure out what I'm going to do with. I might go crazy and have norcalblacktail skeletonize the tang then have it ceracoated.
 
Or go REALLY crazy and have it nickel boron plated. Jaxx posted pics of a Busse he had DLC coated. That would be ideal, but expensive since I can't find anyone who will do a single item.

LMAO that is an amazing example of the RMD! If you need one you can feel comfortable using Ill trade ya my user, then go buy me a new user and keep that pretty baby safe from destruction LMAO
 
Does it have canvas scales?

I wish Busse would skeletonize all of their medium to small knives. Nathan does excellent work in this arena.
