Blade disappointment

I have gone to blade for that last two years. By the time I leave blade I swear of busse. I come to blade to buy a great knife to actually use. But know I get trampled in the pit by a buch of people that already have more then their fare sheer of busse. Most of them just do it to run back here and sell them. It has put a bad taste in my mouth for the last two years. Then I realize that it's not jerry and dan it's the hogs. I have had a good experience with a dog but that it. Tom is in a class all buy himself.


So then buy the time blade comes around again all is I want is to buy one of the best blades on the marked. I figure if I'm spending that kind of $ then I should be able to see and hold it before dishing out that kind of money. It just make's me sick to see knives I want to buy and knot be able to buy them. Then come on here and see them for sale. I understand that it's great that people that can't go to blade are able to get in on the offering. But here I I'm actually going to blade and knot being able to buy what I want. I can't bring myself to buy one off of here after the fact. Even if it is only $50 more then it was at blade because I'm not putting money in someone's pocket after I'm treated like that in the pit.

Anything you want email me and Ill make sure you get it at blade cost. Sry to hear the last two yrs have left a bad taste in your mouth. Only great memories here for me and the warden then again some people shite on people like me for reasons they havnt a clue so whatever.

Hey Eric, I wouldn't worry about what 1 or 2 people think. Most of us have no problem with what you do. You won't be turned into the next LK. If I had the chance to make it to Blade, I'd buy more blades than I planned to keep. Maybe help pay for one or two of my keepers.

Bob, not really. Me, trev, mark, bill, NONE OF US would EVER allow for someone to make it to a blade stomp 2 yrs straight and not get what they want, PERIOD! If you make the trek and are not a complete DB you should never leave a blade unhappy esp if you go mainly for the busse booth. There is no shortage of infi at blade thats for certain.

Excuses. I work 6 days a week too, and I get 3 "vacations" a year: Knob Creek, Blade, Knob Creek.

You just have to plan better

Why not just order exactly what you want from Busse?

I went to Blade last year, and didn't feel stomped or trampled on at all!

Well, in reality everybody gets stomped on, but that is just how it goes:cool:

The pit was just a lot of fun, and it wasn't hard to get my hands on some cool blades.
If you make an effort to get to the front, the guys and girls usually notice if you really want a specific offering, and they will try and get some tags your way:thumbup:

And then if that fails, make it known to others what you are looking for, and some may help you out.
Eric helped me out to get a SW Vex that I wanted. Very cool of him!

To sum up: Just go with it. Stomp back. And grab that tag.

I've got nothing but great memories from the trough over the last three years. The Hogs are some of most generous, vicious, caring, greedy people I know. :)
