blade forum knife ready yet

You would just guess New York anyway, so I don't see any packages coming your way.

you act like there is any place other than ny- ny is the best and the closer you get to syracuse the better it gets-

and i didnt say i wanted it-i want the first blade forums knife-lol

As a Kershaw forum knife, it would be nice if it were something unique to Kershaw.
Everyone has liner locks and frame locks, nobody else has the stud lock.

How about -
Mini Mojito with a Damascus/ZDP-189 composite blade, Titanium handle and Carbon Fiber inlay.

Better get back to it then, as a forum knife seems to be lacking interest. Not mention (again) that you all can't even agree on a pattern, let alone the spec's to go along with it.

OK the really important stuff has been nailed down.

Damascus/SG2 composite blade with dovetail pattern.
3 inches or less.
And a nice Zippered Pouch.

What color Titanium finish would look good with the Carbon fiber inlays?

The other good thing about the Mini Mojito would be that it will be completely ambidextrous if drilled and tapped for a right or left side clip.

How about a Ti Bump with Studlock and ZDP-189/SG-2 (something high end) blade?

Really all I care about is the Studlock and high end steel. You can pick just about any pattern and I'll be happy with it.

+1 nice zipper pouch.

in all seriousness -our best bet is a 3" blade for maximum amount of involvement from members-

a true high end with all the bells and wistles is out because of price limitations-

so its got to be a knife that has a blade forums blade(damascus/sg2) and off the shelf parts for the rest in order for ease of build on kershaws end-imho

I would be in for at least two forum knives for my son and I, as long it is not another leek:foot:. Nothing against the leek, I like the leek, but I have plenty of leeks and there are plenty of variations out there.

Let's go with something else for a change of pace as mentioned above.

Fire away.:D

O.k., so I'll take:

1 Taboo + stud-lock + YXR7 blade + TiNC polished coating
1 Spec Bump with the AO On/Off switch, ZDP-189 blade, an integral frame lock
1 special design damascus wire cut with a sg2 edge
1 Leek damascus dovetail wire cut with a ZDP-189 edge
1 composite Melee with a Ti frame lock, and
1 Ti JYD II

any idea when these will ship?

Give it some nice flowing lines, and make it solid, thats what I like about my splinter. As EDC its the best choice for me so far.

Still think the Shallot would be a good candidate. It is 3 1/2", it'll likely be a high production knife, simple construction, and a lot of room to do something interesting on the handle. You know Kershaw will do a higher end sprint run of it eventually anyway, it's too good looking not to.
