Blade forum user names.

It is from pinus lambertiana, the species name of one of my favorite trees, the Sugar Pine of the Sierra Nevada. Largest pine species in the world, longest pine cones in the world, beautiful tree.

I got stuck with mine by a personel man that saw my name and called me cplane instead of C.P. Lane. My working buddies started calling me seaplane after that and then my brother even had me a knife made with seaplane tangstamped on it. It's a long way from Christopher Preston Lane---But Whatever! Oh, And thats heavy on the Mister!

it supposed to be ni2000 and I just screwed up the last 0 :( I thought it would be nice to login to this forum in the year of 2010 or 2020 and see 2000 after my initials...

One of my martial arts instructors, Marc "Crafty Dog" Denny, thought that several of us students were suffering from chronic "white man's disease" (which he described jokingly as the inability to move with fluidity and grace). He suggested that we pick our favorite weapon and dance to the salsa music he plays during the warmup period at the beginning of each class. Not hard to guess which weapon I selected!

Well, I use mine for all me emails, forums and chats so it was only natural to use it here also. It first came to me way back when i was signing up for my first AOL account. Probably, We're talking AOL zreo.1
anyway Pearljam was playing on the radio, a song called Jeremy I believe and I heard the words "arms raised in a blah.... blah..." So I said "Armsraised" that sounds cool and I've been stuck with it since.

My family has been raising wolf/dog hybrids for some ten years now. Wolfy is what I call the big male we have now. I thought it'd make a good forum name.:)

Initials "BRK" plus a few vowels to make it a word...I've been thinking of asking Spark to change it to my name though.

Used to go by the name MHz045 (Resistance at 45 MegaHertz) because I tampered (okay, okay, ruined!) with anything with that had power in it in high school.

I thought up D7reamers as a one-line pharse for "The (Da) seven dreamers dream" when I got back on-line.

Now that I think about it, it kinda describes me.
Always dreaming, thinking, and/or scheming about something, seven days a week.

I needed a username for ICQ and everything I put in was rejected as already taken. There happened to be a box of matches on my desk so I decided to get silly...Presto!...instant username!:D :barf:

Been competing in powerlifting for over 22 years, still going strong with a win at the Nationals this year(my 20 yr old son won his weight class too-how cool is that?). Also have spoken to many youth groups and organizations over the years telling kids about God and what He has done in my life, so it seemed to make sense.

If you have to have a copy of the APCO 10 codes handy, a "10-96" is a mental case.

The shoe's comfortable, as they say...

This is the most interesting thread I've read in a while. My story's a bit long winded, but it won't be worth it in the end. Enjoy!

My sister used to call me Zero, since I was an admitted accidental child. She said there were six kids in our family, 5-4-3-2-1 then me, Zero. Yes, we're Catholic. Yes, I was bullied by my sister.

I actually usually go by Reverend Zero, but that always got me in trouble with the Reverend Lovejoys, so I decided to change it to something campy, and nothing says ridiculous like a vaguely macho oxymoron like Atomic Zero.

I used to use Groundskeeper Willie, but that caused trouble too. I could never figure out why people took offense to that. Are groundskeepers really that touchy?

Sincerely,
Apache Rose Peacock

Ferret is my nickname at work...why? Cause when I started there were several Davids and I was always first in to unload the semitrailers sooo...now it's gotten so people have to ask my real name

We got a guy at my job I nickenamed Ferret a few years back..Damn fast worker and made this goofy wheeehehe sound when he really got going..Got so even the managers and supervisors called him that...:)

I've been collecting and using knives for over 20 years. When joining the forum a few years ago my wife(then girlfriend)mentioned how much of a KNIFE GUY I really was and I guess it stuck. That and a the name K-man reminds me of Kramer from Seinfeld so I didn't want to use it. Pretty simple:)
