Check the very first sentence in the post where you learned how to order it. Many regulars (who were eligible) missed out because of a flawed ordering system.

I think you should keep it. If it stops calling to you at a later date, post it up for another member.

I’ve seen you participating in the forum, and I have no issues with you keeping yours.

You know I have a confession, I'm not particularly fond of the looks of eureka jacks. Many love them but they leave me cold. Just don't like the look of them. But in over 3,000 posts on the porch this is the first time I've ever said anything negative about a eureka jack. Must be a rather sad life just looking for things to trash talk, nobody's forced you to open a thread dedicated to barlows which you profess to dislike. To post a negative post in a thread about a pattern you claim to hate is rather childish. Frankly it comes off as a spoiled brat who didn't get a bauble like the other kids so has nothing left but to ridicule that which he actually covets. But as the old saying goes,"if you haven't anything nice to say, keep your damn mouth shut "

I offer this as a solution: I was certainly eligible to purchase this knife, and would have if I had checked the ordering post in time (or if the ordering had been handled like in prior years where we paid first before the order was placed). So I would qualify as someone who "missed out."

I hereby offer you my unexercised right-to-purchase in consideration for your good attitude about the whole thing and continuation of constructive posting in this forum.

Though certainly, if there is some other deserving soul who wants your knife and you wish to transact with, feel free to do so.
