This is incredible! Can you tell us more about the engraving tool you used?

Thanks! That was all done with a 96° chisel in a Lindsay Airgraver, basically a palm sized jackhammer.

I absolutely agree! A very nice knife and the nicest GEC knife that I own. I don’t own many GEC knives but they did an exceptionally nice job on this one. This year’s forum knife created a lot of negative comments, it was really bad this year. The comments continued after the knifes were shipped. I like the forum knife but maybe it is time to end it.

The complaints represent a small percentage of the transactions, IMO!!
I hope someone picks up the ball next year --- with the warning: a big increase in numbers compounds the problems and workload!! 500-plus knives is a far cry from past years!!

For the 2018 BF knife from Buck it was 474 knives Charlie.

I think the key is to try and keep the discussion of the forum knife here on the Porch. The more it's discussed outside of here, the more you will get people who don't qualify chasing it. There was another forum that had GEC make an 86 and it was a well kept secret until they dropped.
