Great to see an arrival in Canada  Don't let it get gummed up with Maple Syrup though....:D But, I believe I still have the most northerly one 63 ° North.

Thanks, Will

This thing is built like a tank! 😉😁

I have seen your beautiful barlow posted many times, and i have always wondered what the story behind the engraving was.
Would you mind sharing the meaning behind it?

Gorgeous knife overal!

Thank you Will :)
I'll do my best not to gum up the works lol :D
I am pretty sure you get to claim the most northerly BF knife my friend
Wishing all of our Canadian friends get theirs soon as well 🇨🇦

Its certainly a looker, Dan, but how fast can you open it? 😉😁

I read your comment way to fast for a minute I thought I was in a episode of Miami Vice.

LOL 😁

That 2019 BF knife had the silkiest, smoothest, sweetest action  ... also I am older now ... my reflexes are not as fast anymore 🥴 :p

But perhaps I still have it in me ... just one more shot at greatness 🤔

Hopefully I'll throw you of that throne soon. 64° North checks in.

I shall have to relinquish my crown then ;) and I certainly have no plans to move any further North:eek:

Hail to the New King of the North :D What's the coldest it gets there in winter?

Thanks, Will

Don't place that crown just yet...we may have to take this to decimals. I'm just a little shy of 65°N in Fairbanks, Alaska! Where in Iceland are you Jacques Mi Jacques Mi ?

Are people ALIVE up there on 65° :D

Here in Finland, Utsjoki is almost the most northerly place. Population 1200, it's on 69° 54  and it's 990 kms from where I live.....

I'm hoping somebody lives in Greenland.....

Reykjavik. The world's northernmost capital.. For good measurements beezwax beezwax

Will Power Will Power a well kept secret is that it doesn't get that cold here in the winter but rather just really, really rainy and ditto windy. Don't tell the tourists.

Ah I've got you by a very little bit, 75km or so! Reykjavik is 64.1°N and Fairbanks is 64.8°N rounded to the nearest tenth. I had the good fortune of spending a few days in Iceland about ten years ago, beautiful country. And yes--I was visiting in February and was surprised by how mild the temps were, rainy weather. In Fairbanks at that time of year average temps are -20 to -30 (°C) and -40 is common. Our school kids have outside recess every day unless temps are below -28°C.

Lots of people! Fairbanks has a population of around 30,000 if you count only city limits, but the greater borough (metro region) is closer to 100,000. The most northerly place in Alaska is Barrow (Utqiagvik) at 71.3°N, population 4,500 and about 800km from me (but you can't drive there, there are no roads). Now if we have a BladeForums member living in northern Greenland they would have the title for sure. Thule (Qaanaaq) is at 77.5°N!

beezwax beezwax Oulu is Finland's 5th largest city with nearly 210 thousand population and it's right on latitude 65° not that far from the Arctic Circle. I lived there for a year, well it didn't feel like living really.....walking down Hallituskatu one Feb. morning the thermometer showed -42C no weather to be walking anywhere in a wind  In early June the puddles were still partly frozen.

Look forward to seeing your knife in situ  is it being delivered by Husky Sled?😆

Thanks, Will
