Blade Forums Spring Street Barlow (BF Knife 2021)

My BF knife kept me company this afternoon as I took advantage of the mild weather and went outside to my little shed for some much needed woodturning therapy.

Cheese and crackers platter.

Your woodturning therapy has global repercussions, Dan!
Your beautiful Cherry bowl has become my key drop, which helps to keep my old self organized, and I get to touch it every day!! Thanks again for your lovely work!!Bowl 2.jpgBowl 3.jpg

Beautiful wee Tiki Dan, what a pleasure to see my friend!
Thank you Duncan :)
Tiki is a sweet girl (green cheeked conure) .
She is about 3 now, we got her when she was 8 weeks old.

Thank you for the kind words, posting the pictures and letting me know it is been well used. I find joy in that, TY :)

Thats top work,well done.
Gracias Johnny :)

My wife and I went for a walk later in the afternoon.

The setting sun lit my BF knife on fire 🔥
Nice to see the different tones it shows in different lighting conditions.

Looks great in that light, Dan! I took one last photo of Merle before he took off on his adventures yesterday, and I had never noticed he had a lighter colored line like yours does along the edge of the sawcut. Well I noticed it in the picture, and it looked to me like it could be a crack running all the way from the end of the knife up to that backspring pin. I had to take Merle out of the package (thankfully I hadn’t taped it shut yet) and check to make sure it wasn’t! 😲😁

As a Canadian waiting for the chance to order, I was just hoping for clarification on the time Sat... 12 noon, but what time zone?

r8shell r8shell very kindly offered to ship my Forum Knife over for me, and put it in the mail several weeks ago :) After an arduous journey, and a diversion to Denmark for some reason, the postie finally put it into my hands today :)

What a beautiful knife! :) I'm very pleased with mine, no proud pins, and a perfectly-centred blade. For a big folder, it's very pocketable, and the bone looks wonderful. I think this might well be my favourite forum knife. Thanks to everyone who made it possible, and to my dear friends here on The Porch :) Special thanks to Rachel of course
