Well, I finally got mine in the Netherlands! Better late than never and whatnot! I really like this knife. The sawcut pattern matches well side-to-side, no gaps, crisp action, and the domed pins are perfect. Nice and slender for a larger knife. If I were to nitpick, the spring is slightly proud at the half-stop and the tip could be a little deeper in the well (the same as on my two 86 2ABs), but that's being really particular. I am very pleased.

Sorry for the crappy photos. Dark at this hour. I tried to give it an authentic Dutch background, at least: Dutch cheese!

From Titusville to Âchillepattada near Paris and then to its home in Reykjavik surely takes some time but today I could finally pick it up. All worth the wait though, this knife is a real stunner - and as my first BF knife too I couldn't be more pleased!

After touring the countryside, my Spring Street Barlow showed up in my mailbox this morning. I am greatly relieved to have it in my possession. I am thrilled the knife is a work of art.

I'm really enjoying mine, mainly weekend carry. The dye is really starting to fade with use, which I don't mind at all. Maybe if I carrying enough I will get my wish of natural bone after all!

JTB_5 Really satisfying composition there Joshua. Have to say that your Stag WO is the only one I've seen that has decent antler on it, most seem very lacklustre in comparison . I'm impatiently awaiting delivery of a bone WO, but it will take weeks, they do make a fine pairing with the current Forum Knife.

Thank you, Will. I do feel like I lucked out with the 68 stag. It has a considerable about of blade rub, which I think is abnormal, but the stag is outstanding. I gave both of these knives a fresh edge last night (along with a micarta 86 barlow) and they both a feeling fine and fancy free. The fancy bolsters and comparative clips do go together nicely.

Got mine back from the engraver today and looked it over more thoroughly. Still can't find anything that would make it an "s". So Im happy I saved a couple bucks and got an amazing knife.

Finally found some time to open my “S”. Many many thanks to waynorth !! Charlie, I have never received a knife as well packaged as yours was, I learned a thing or two! Thank you Peregrin as well for all your help. I’m shocked this came from Canada already so quickly! Extremely grateful and lucky to have had the opportunity to snag an “S” forum knife. There is nothing on this knife that I can notice that would make it an “S” model, it is absolutely stunning, maybe even more so than my regular forum knife. One in the safe, and one I’m about to go stick in something!!
