DPx HEST/F 2.0 Triple Black Special Edition T3
Been in a real low place for awhile, Seen this , bought it, And then the Coolness and excitement turned to sadness and just a plain feeling of disappointment. Who puts a sticker over the graffix band and then just rips it off. So let down i just put it back in the envelope. I feel like i could throw up.

And b4 the haters come out of the wood work.. Look what the package looks like online it looks cool as shyyyt, then tell me how let down you would be when you get some sticky messed up box

I guess I sort of feel you, but for a "fail" I was sort of expecting some huge problem with the product, rather than its box... but if collecting the boxes is your thing, I can see how this would be upsetting. Maybe not upsetting enough to toss it back or throw up, but...

No offense but it sounds like you are overly sensitive? I bought a knife for $2100 this week and guess what it came in? It was wrapped up in an express shipping envelope, and then the guy put it in another express shipping envelope that was folded in half, and then put it in an express shipping envelope.

Yes.... I got a $2100 knife that was packed that way. Granted I got it without any issues, but that makes your "fail" look a little less problematic doesn't it? If such a little thing like that gets you so down.... you need to go get some help.

What can I say, Logical One is logical. I had to look at that pic for quite awhile before I even noticed there was any problem at all... with the box.

By the way, how was the actual knife you purchased? Good condition I hope?

It's a box...... HUH, what?

Last time I checked the knife comes in a box.... So are they buying the box or the knife?

I guess if you're so disgusted you toss a $500+ dollar knife back... the box must be kind of a big deal.

If someone wanted to give me that knife I'd make the best most awesome box ever in which to ship it.

To OP: I am not trying to be a hater here at all, really. But you just bought yourself an awesome, expensive quality knife I would love but could never afford. Hopefully the knife itself came without issue and if so, you should be grateful you are both in a position to own it and that you now own it... that's just my two cents. Buy an awesome tool and don't worry about the packaging. I looked at the box online and aside from that minor scrape it looks absolutely the same degree of "coolness." I hate to say it but this reminds me of the kids that get more fun out of the wrapping paper than the cool toys.

A box is just a box.....

I think perhaps the boxes for the DPX Hest 2.0 Triple Black are... bigger on the inside!! (Props if anyone gets the reference.)

Seriously though, you can send me that knife wrapped in a garbage bag-a USED garbage bag-- and I'll be happy.

Ankerson.. I get them for both. I get knives to beat on... I dont care about the box on those, But when you buy something to hold onto for awile its just a bg let down! Let alone if i want to redeem the value some day. Better the box and package the faster the sale.. You know thats the truth.
This will be one of the cheaper knives I own so I understand what The Logical One is saying.

If i was going to buy this second hand off someone. It would be a deal breaker.

If the box means that much to you, I bet DPx customer service would send you one... They have a strict "no tears" policy for all their customers.

Seriously dude... WOW. great comment... Ok everyone, we now know RedLynx shipping preference.

1) You need to get a grip.

2) After the owner's behavior on BF, you couldn't pay me to buy a DPX knife.

Point number 2 intrigues me sir.... without going off-topic too much could you direct me to an enlightening thread on this subject?

Just sayin' dude... if as you say above this is one of your cheaper knives... you're quite a fortunate fellow, you shouldn't be stressing the box too much. My best knife costs about 5 times less than this one...

People listen,

The point of me buying the cheap azz piece of shyt DPx was because of the total of everything, Cool box, Cool Logo, All black and stuff. Just looks cool. It was the total of everything that had value to me.

I am buying something BRAND NEW...Shouldn't it arrive looking BRAND NEW???? Am I that wrong?

You said in your post it made you want to throw up. You should've known at that point that people were going to give you crap about it.
