Wow that is one super looking knife John. Can't wait to see it in person:thumbup::D:thumbup::thumbup:

John, that is stunning!!! Your hunter-bowie knives really really appeal to me, but you know that :)

What you all said about the Horrigan - +1 ...... and +1 again. It's just spectacular!

I'd call this a vest bowie, and a very nice one at that.
I really like the design features Mike's been utilizing (rear wedgie here and his butt cap inlays on some recent bowies).

Mike describes it:
6 1/4 inch blade of 1084-15n20 in a broken W pattern.
Handle is ivory.
Fittings are textured 303 & 416 stainless.
10 1/2 overall length.
A little different than my usual but I like the way it turned out.

Damascus Hunter with stag:
The Blade is 5" and it's 9-3/4" overall. There is a vine carved in the top of the blade spine.

Cowboy Bowie with stag:
The Blade is 6-5/8" long. The fittings are nickel silver . The handle bolts are recessed.

These two are spoken for:

Justice Bowie:
The Blade is 10-1/2" and it's 15-3/4" overall.

I really like the JR Cook knives!!!!!
Great Knives made by a really nice man.

JR's one of the good guys for sure.

I fall off the chair every time I come here.
Know what you mean Mark. This should be one heck of a Blade Show.

all very mice but that laminate from Horigan is spot on in the blade

Joe, John's only recently started experimenting with the blade laminating process. I believe he's done less than a dozen blades to date, yet has a very high success rate. Some guys are just very successful in every endeavor they attempt.

Three long days but I got it done I know I will get faster at them as I do more. But I do love my new bridge port mill this is the first time cutting out the middle like this it is slip joint #2 on my own.
