That one looks a lot like mine, Don!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Don, that small fighter is one of my favorite fighters out of your shop! That has got to visit Coop. It is hard to capture the unusual color of that ivory, but it is just part of a lot of things about this one that make it special. Just a superb knife!

that is super stuff, Dave:thumbup:
Your work definitely stands apart and for all the right reasons.

Just got pics this morning. This is a large Persian Style Bowie with an 11 1/2" blade of "W" pattern Mosaic. The guard and pommel nut are hot blued mild steel, and the handle is carved/textured Australian Miniritchie wood. (Thanks to Bruce B for the wood!)

Sorry the picture isn't better....it's difficult for me to get good detail in photos of these big knives.

Now to get the sheath for this monster done, and maybe I'll even have a bit of time before the show to finish a couple of EBKs! :)

Don, that damascus fighter IS my favourite piece of yours to date. Stunning.

Dave, that feather patterned bowie looks terrific.

Ed, awesome damascus on that Persian and I love all this Australian wood I'm seeing on your recent pieces. The carving and stippling really add some nice visual and tactile texture.

Got some photos back from Chuck Ward. The first one is the raffle knife that some of you followed. I'll have it on my table at Blade until its owner takes possession of it. The second picture is the fighter with the hamon shown earlier in this thread. It's for sale at the show. I'll have another sub hilt for sale and one to deliver to Les Robertson. . . if I get them finished!

David, nice knives. I am curious who forged the laminated steel. Was it BF?

Thanks, Jon. The damascus was a random billet from Delbert ealy. I cut "teeth" along the edge (attached image) and Delbert re-forged the billet. The blade with the hamon was made from a flat bar of W2.

Thank you, Roger.

David

Here is a quick little preview of the knives that I will have at the blade show. I have additional pictures of each knife if anything interests you and you would like to see more. I should also have at least one more knife that is in progress.
Thanks for looking.
Chuck
