BLADE SHOW ’2013 – Show us what you got; Please!

normal_bladeshow3013youthsendero.jpg
This one for Blade is my first youth model Sendero. Like all youth model guns the handle is shorter and thinner while sporting basically a slightly smaller blade.

4 bar twist damascus blade. Fossil Walrus with some engraving by maker.

If you want a knife for your child or grandchild this one would be a doozie to start them off with.

I finished this today,it will be at the blade show.
Sandvik 14C28N blade @ 60 Rc,2 5/8" x3/32", 400 grit hand rubbed finish,pivot bushing construction.
Closed length is 3 1/2",weight 1.9 oz.
416 stainless integral bolster/liners,Imastag scales.

Come by and check it out and say hello,

Bill

I will be there as a spectator. My first time at Blade and really looking forward to it.

Kevin, that's a very nice line up for the CKCA !!!

Coop is shooting a couple of my show knives, will post them when he's finished.

To he who is making this knife for me- I apologize for using the rough photo. ;)

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Already have a few knives to deliver on Thursday to makers and a collector.

Let me know if I can lend a hand with anything.

Gus

Either on the table or to be delivered:

Awesome work David. I love the Wilderness,:D then I would, would'nt I along with one of those Drop Points ;)

Looking forward to meeting Kyle Hanson, the illustrious knifemaker/banjo-player. Ben

This is probably a little premature since I haven't put the pin in yet but I'll post it anyway. This one is going to Blade. It's an S-Guard Bowie in 1095. Guard and spacers are blued mild steel. The thinner spacer is brass. Handle is maple burl. This knife represents a little more of a challenge for me from what I'm used to but it was still a lot of fun. Come by table 10-Q and check it out.

This knife will be available at the Bladeshow this year.
It is a rare for me, carbon steel blade, hand forged from 5160 spring steel and water quenched.
This is a one of one piece as I have never set one up like this. I really like this knife.

Both Damascus and stainless with a touch of engraving on the guard.
The blade is 4 3/4 inches long and the knife weighs 4 ounces. Sambar stag handle.
The knife weighs only 4 ounces and will be great for Bushcraft, hunting or just looking dang good on your side.

I finished this today,I may have time to make a few more folders before the show.
This is a liner lock with a nail nick instead of a thumb stud for opening.
This is a thin knife,5/16",3 5/16" closed and weighs 1.75 oz.
The blade is Sandvik 13C26 stainless @60Rc,.075" thick and 2.5" long with a 400 grit hand rubbed finish.
The liners are .050" titanium, jeweld on the inside.
The dovetailed bolsters are 410 stainless with a 400 grit hand rubbed finish.
The scales are amber jigged bone laminated onto black G-10,I left the scales about .020" proud of the bolsters.
Come see it at the show!
