John, that artifact dagger is great.
Ok now we are in trouble. Two Hanson's doing great work with killer ivory. Good work Kyle, love the tapered tang.

Chris

Don, finding your ivory stash is not the problem. Figuring out where the secret lever that moves the spare 100 lb LG aside and extends the drawbridge over the gator filled moat is the real trick. The REAL problem is that you can no longer sell the pieces of ivory that are too thick or thin for your knives. You now have to give them to Junior. :D

I have a decent handful of finished blades, but am hoping to have these ready as well:

And something quite a bit different from my other stuff that I hope to debut at Blade. I'll take pics when they're finished. They get priority over these in-progress knives. :D They've been taking most of my time for the last month.

Six years ago, I told a young knifemaker named Kyle that he had a very bright future ahead of him, well the same goes for this Kyle.

Some knifemakers struggle for years with their handles and nailing the fundamentals. The young makers who excel early on in these
areas, will often rise among the great ones. IF, they stick with it and don't get distracted.

Kyle H. found my ivory stash.:grumpy:

My friend Mr. White has one heck of a line-up...

Don, I love the stuff your son is doing. Please pass on my praise to Kyle. :)

James and Erik... you two must have some serious shop monkeys! I'd accuse James of being a robot, but I've met him.... So it's gotta be shop monkeys. :D
