Much more to come.

Yeah there we go Don.

Kevin- your comment made me chuckle because I brought that up multiple times in convo with Don, basically making fun of myself. This is a carry knife and built specifically for hard use if needed.. so in this case, that kind of ivory is something I requested to aid in grip. I did not want a smooth handle on this one.

Chuck- Yeah we thaught a colored clip might be too flashy (especially in NY) so there is a chance it will be replaced or recolored depending on what I think of it. We went with titanium becuase it seemed the most practical. The coloring was something we weren't sure about doing.

This knife was not supposed to be pretty originally- but as it was getting built things ended up getting more fancy and pretty because I just needed some of Don's special touch and thats what I got.

Robert- thats a cool folder!

Al, thanks for the good words about Kyle's knife.

John, you're too kind, see ya soon.

Chuck, it might get a damascus clip at some point.

Kevin, I hope Jon doesn't ask me to grind the natural surface off this one. ;)

Thanks guys!

Achim told me that for kitchen knives to leave it at 64 Rc but if you wanted to do stupid stuff like hammer it through bolts, you should back it off to maybe 62. :D You should let Kevin Cashen take at look at that damascus at Blade. He thought theyalloy formula that was written on that bar that Toni gave me last year looked very promising for making slicers.
The 115w8 is amazing. Flexible at a high hardness.

I finished this about an hour ago. Another liner lock with a nail nick.
Sandvik 14C28N blade,.075" x 2 9/16",60 Rc,flat grind,hand rubbed to 400 grit.
.050" jeweled titanium liners,.060" stainless bolsters hand rubbed to 400 grit, butter scotch G-10 scales. I left the scales proud of the bolsters.
3 3/4" closed,weighs 2 oz.
Questions,comments and constructive criticsism welcome.
Y'all enjoy!
