Blade show 2011 for me

Captain Joe,

The pain of missing the Blade Show was washed away, by the arrival of my Knight Founder's Bowie.

It exceeded all my expectations.

Thanks,

Peter

Sir Peter

You don't know what that means to me. You have one of the finest eyes in the game and I am so glad you like the knife

Missed ya buddy

Joe,

You and Pappy Long are my Blade heros.

Great to see you.

John

John I won't let the cat out of the bag but the piece that you are working on that you showed me was one of my favorite things that I saw at the show

Great seeing you

There is WAY too much to relate here, but I'll extend my appreciations back to you for your always-warm greetings.

That Microtech folder simply screams 'ILLEGAL AND LETHAL' upon opening.... That's why it's so awesome. ;)

Cya soon, Joe.

Joe The Folder Pimp.:D I got to drop by the booth on Saturday and apparently Matt's new production folders are not only attractive and VERY reasonably priced, but also come with VERY sharp edges because it seemed like someone was bleeding all over the counter ever couple of minutes.;) The lads also apparently sold a lot of handle material over the course of the weekend.

Joe we had alot of blood on the ground and it shows how quick we are none of us had any band aids :D

good seeing ya

Joe,

It was nice to see you again at the show. I wish I had known you were working a table, I would have dropped by.

Jim Treacy

Jim thats okay and by the way ya looked great brother

As for everyone else thanks for the kind words

But Jason brought a few versions of the Founders Bowir and since I had some input on this knife when he showed me a user version of the Founders that had a Micarta handle and a sheath from Lance I could not pass it up. Know I can put up the proto type and take this one out adventureing.

Congrats JP ! They are real beauties.

Joe, it was nice seeing you again. Thanks to you and STeven for the hospitality you guys showed my son you made his first BLADE show an enjoyable one. He couldn't be quiet the whole tip home.

Eric let me say that the only thing that impressed me more that the fantastic knives you had was your son. What an exceptional young man and it was a real pleasure meeting him

Your work really looked great this year and please post a pic of the knife you showed me a pic of it sold very quickly and regretfully I did not get to hold it but it looked great

BTW I called Bill up and told him what a great son you had and he agreed :)

Joe, I'm sorry I missed meeting you this year.

I did get to meet Kevin Jones, STephen Garsson (thanks for the Loveless tour!), Roger P, Bastid, plus too many fine makers to list.

I bought a beautiful stag damascus hunter from Karl Andersen, plus a wicked W2 skinner from Dave Lisch (which I know you would love to use!) I will this fall, and will post pics of it in action. Altogether, a great BLADE show this year.

Jeff looking forward to seeing you next year

Good blade show all. I like STeven more every time i see him. Joe you are lookin out for me brother. I know you still love me even if I wont take part in the religious activity. I like the picture of that knife I think I should do some damascus ones with blackwood handles. Thank's to all of you guys you made my show.
I even liked Danbo's neck knife.

I do love ya brother I think you are one of the greatest players in the game and a very honorable man. I woiuld bet my life on your work and I can't give you any higher praise than that.

I was kinda in a dilema I wanted to carry the proto and was but did not want to use it to hard. The micarta user sure solved that problem.

Thanks brother

I was so pleased to get to spend quality time with my three boys. Joey, STevie, and Jason were all on relatively good (?) behavior. Well at least Jason. I only had to sit STevie in the corner twice and fairly short both times. Joey?.....well Joey is Joey, what can I say...at least I'm not out any bail money so that's a positive.

I wish all of you could have made it this year. This was my fifth Blade and it was the best so far by a long shot. I really had a great time, thanks to all my friends that I got to see and visit with......Waaayyy too many to list here, but "hundreds" comes to mind. It will keep my batteries charged until next year for sure.

Paul seeing you is always the highlight of the show for me

It also helps that I know you will always bail me out :D

For those of you that missed Matt's booth please try to stop by next year I will be attempting to shoot an apple off STeven's head for your entertainment . For those that do not like him much don't worry I am a horrible shot and I will not practice much before the show. :D
