Blade show 2011 for me

As usual Joe, It was great to see you, and sad that there are not more hours in the day.... I got the biggest kick out of all you meat heads working the booth.
A personal thanks from me for all your warm enthusiasm, and for the introduction to the Marifone family. It was a highlight of the show for me to hang out with you guys, and big honor to be involved in our litle "project".
Already looking forward to next time.

Adam-

Very nice to meet you and thanks for looking at my work and offering up feedback. This was my first attendance at a show of this caliber and the thing I'm taking home is the knowledge from getting to talk with people like you.

(btw... nice bow. I didn't realize you were a trad shooter)

The micarta Founder's Bowie just looks amazing. Still has that dressy look like the original but with no fear of using it.

Great to see you at the show Joe! That bowie is almost too badass for words...it looks like you could take down a T-Rex with it and never break a sweat! Oh yeah, sign me up for two tickets to the William Tell demo! I'll bring some bandaids and Neosporin just in case:D

Thanks Joe, I really appreciate it! I wish we had a bit more time to hang at the show too, but no worries. That place is like a giant whirlwind of faces and knives to me...pretty tough to make a visiting schedule and stick to it. I'll be getting in touch with you here pretty soon anyway! Now grab that bow and start practicing!!!

I am very sorry I missed you guys, I would loved to have shaken your hands. The problem with that show is, your going to miss something.

Joe, it was great seeing you. Even though you and STeven were busy you guys always spend time shooting the breeze with me. You guys even laughed at my "da monsta is attacking Tokyo" impression...that's friendship!

Appreciate the fact that you took the time to walk me across the whole damn floor to show me some cool knives that were hiding in that vast arena of edged steel.

By the way, wicked pic of you 2 fingerin' that bow.

It was a great BLADE Show. Getting together with old friends and meeting new is much what it's about for many.

Particularly busy this year. A Great Show for the CKCA. As been mentioned, our banquet just gets bigger and better each year.
We introduced our CKCA/Jerry Fisk $100,000.00 endowment project to promote and progress custom Knives. I will start a thread giving more information in the near future.

I did pick-up one of Haley DesRosier's hunters and a Jason Knight Founders Bowie Deluxe with a big and beautifully sculptured Walrus handle and big damascus blade. Thanks Joey and Jason for hooking me up. Will post up photos after receiving from Coop.

As fine knives at this year's show as I can ever remember seeing at a SHOW.

STeven I would advise you to not participate in the apple thing. Joey and I where doing some axe throwing a while back ago and he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. I'm sure he has not improved since then. Sounds like there was some good times had by all at the show. Hopefully one day I will be able attend and get to meet everyone. That is If Joey will let me after this post :)

Kevin you and I always have laughs thats for sure and I always enjoy the banquet and the fellowship of the CKCA. I really think the organization is the future of the knife community and with projects like the one discussed it is definately heading in the right direction.

As for your kick ass Damascus and Ivory Founders Bowie it was one of my favorite blades of the show and I cant wait to see the pics
