Blade Show 2020

If it happens, yes I will go.
Per their emails they will cancel last minute if needed.
Too much uncertainty at the moment.

I doubt some of the larger makers like CRK & Hinderer will have much to show. They are usually busy prepping at this time of year, but instead are shut down. I too am doubtful they can pull off June, but hopefully they can still get it done this year.
Like the rest of this mess-time will tell

There's a pretty long thread going about this over in the Custom & Handmade sub-forum:)

I would hope that it is on, that’s 2 months from now. I will go for sure in June if it’s not canceled.

Per their website "BLADE SHOW 2020 will take place"

Are you still planning on attending Blade Show? Why or why not?
Okay, you asked why not. I went last year, and it really sucked. Maybe 1/3 of the show is about makers and vendors displaying and demoing their new products. The other 2/3 is a giant flea market of crap. Anything from carved Indian heads to silver coins. It's like a really small blade show grafted into a large garage sale.

Blade show is the greatest knife show on the planet

no where else can you see more custom makers and the whose who in the knife world from around the world under one roof

there are many vendors selling everything from handle materials to grinders

If you like knives and don’t like the Blade show other than travel logistics your an idiot and don’t understand knife shows in general

I’ve attended knife shows all over the country for decades and Blade is the knife show every year

regretfully I can’t see this show going off this year in June ...... not a chance

the show is under new Taiwanese ownership now and we will see how this new owner handles this huge problem

to be selling tickets still on line and to have just finalized charging all booth and table holders is ridiculous and does not give me much hope for the new ownership

I’ve worked the show for years and I’m basically writing it off this year as a no go

As someone who has gone for the last three or four years, I can state that this is categorically false. BLADE Show in Atlanta is the absolute center of the knife world every year. I'm actually not even able to figure out how you have gotten this impression.

I have been going since 2012 - and I too am baffled at that description of the show. Just wow.

I was going to go with the intent to score an SNG at table price, but ended up finding one close enough. I doubt it's going happen on the date is planned. If it does, I'll still go and buy another SNG, and just go into debt a little.

This is so stupid...so we're supposed to scramble for logistics now? And what happens if this stuff gets extended into the new dates...:mad:

hey buddy

it’s a shame

no matter when they have it this summer the show is going to not work

they need to move it to the fall or just cancel for this year

the new owner does not want to refund anything to the people that make this show great and is stalling ..... plain and simple
