Blade Show Scores

I tried to alter the font size and color on my previous post and couldn’t. Do I have to be a pirate? I’m platinum, Yo! WTF?

I noticed the same thing while trying to change mine on my iPhone and iPad with the Safari browser. Some reason they are now greyed out and cannot change. Wasn’t like that a few weeks ago I don’t think.

I had to use my Google Chrome browser to alter the font. Some kind of blocker or security??? The world may never know lol.

Looks like a great time had by all.
Help me out if you will, I have obviously had my head in the sand for too long and possibly others have also. I had never seen this brand until this week. They look great and I love a high quality fixed blade. Tell me (along with any other members that are unfamiliar) something that would make me purchase one to try out and how do you go about getting one? Their website has no knives available.

Friday sales typically about every two weeks. Sale dates are announced in the “The Next Sale” thread which can be found in the sticky section at the top of the page.
The first post in that thread is typically updated to show the next sale date and time.
Time is always 3:00 eastern on Fridays that are sale days. The sale post will not show up until 3:00 pm in the “Knife makers fixed blades for sale” area.

The sale will be over in under a second. Then you will have to refresh a couple times to see how things shake out. It is common to look like you landed in the third spot and then you refresh and find out you are page four in the 44th spot.
You can search back a few pages in the sale area and find some previous sales and look at the format and how brisk the sales are.

Also, in addition to what the Cap'n posted...check out listings in the "Carothers Knives for Sale" area of the Exchange, and make use of the "Knives: Wanted To Buy" section to list your own wants.

As to why you should want to own a Carothers knife, please review the threads in the sub-forum which go into great detail about the various knives. (Google is your friend when wanting to ask about specific knives made by CPK.)
