Blade Show - Who (and what) are going?!

Selling like hotcakes, kinda what I had expected with knives this good.

Good thing production capability is expanding, gonna need it to meet demand for the superb quality and design of CPK knives.
 
So my proxy buyer was second at the table this morning. But the first person in line bought the UF I was after.

Was it anyone on here? My bet it on Gus!
 
I like the look of that guy. Definitely get the vibe he's a perfect fit @cpk
 
My friend Peter and I got in line at 3:00AM Friday morning. We were the first regular customers to arrive. at Nathan's table. We discovered that other exhibitors had already bought much of what we were hoping for including five Shivs, the 6" Fighter, and all the antique cross-cut micarta LC's. I was a little disappointed about that after waiting in line for nine hours, but I made out OK.

I got that last tan G10 Shiv (no sheath), a black unbuffed micarta LC, a black micarta 4V EDC, and a forest green G10 FK. Most importantly, I got to meet and talk to Nathan and Jo. Great people!

Congrats on your score's! Quite a compliment when other Exhibitors are buying Nathan's kniveso_O:thumbsup:
 
Nathan, this has to be encouraging. Many of us are not surprised at the demand for your blades. We see it every time there is a Friday sale or someone puts one up for sale on BF. When exhibitors are buying them that fast, it tells you something. You make some of the best blades around. You could have brought 100-150 blades and they may all have been gone as well. Congrats! Just wish I could have been there to get some of them!

Congrats to everyone that was able to buy a CPK at the show. Is the table sold out yet?
 
I went to the Blade Show yesterday for the first time in over ten+ years. I was quite surprised at how packed the place was before the show opened with both Early Bird and VIP attendees. The line was immense! It snaked all around the inside foyer/hall and continued on outside! I finally made it to Nathan's table somewhere maybe between ~12:15pm and perhaps ~12:30pm. The Shivs were all sold and (I saw a customer at his table who was picking up the last one.) However I was able to score a buffed natural micarta Light Chopper and a buffed black micarta EDC in 4v. I also enjoyed meeting and talking with both Jo and Nathan.
