Blade West Pictures

Those are his cutting competition blades from last year and are for sale. I got a sneak peak at the ones' he brought for this years competition. I can't say much except yikes

The FBMs on the table are the Nuclear Meltdown version that came out recently so I'm sure that blanks are easy to come by.

What amazed me (besides the SHSJ) was the FSHes and old style SFNOs that were there in aboundance. Let's hope this is a sign of things to come in the coming years. I need at least one of each and it will be awhile as I'm flat broke now that I am a college student again and trying to make ends meet on unemployment.

Here are some pictures I took on friday.

Bill Siegle's Table
IMG_1144.jpg

for some reason I thought bill was much older then that. it's funny, I've become very selective when it comes to busse knives and tactical knives that are in the same catagory (ergonomic machined handle scales, very eye catching lines, as seen in okudens table and the busse tables), but when it comes to bill siegles knives I look at that table and think "I want ALL of that."

so simple, so beautiful.

Thanks for posting the pics. I would have been very happy to walk out of there with a Duty and FSH. Sweet ones. Oh yeah, an integral dagger too.

The integral daggers are gorgeous. I mean, pictures don't even come close to doing them justice. They might be the most beautiful Busse knives I've ever seen.

They are also crazy expensive, and not something I would EVER use, so I don't see myself buying one.

Still.... WOW

Is it normal at blade shows for then to have NMFBM's and like every Busse ever created??!!?? My wife veto'd my trip up there and now I regret not puttin my foot down!!

Awesome pics. Anyone know what model Siegle that is on the left with the tan handles?

Interesting that Busse is still selling new SAR5's at shows.

I think perhaps he doesn't hate them so much really!

This is my third Blade West and the selection this year was like nothing in the years I have been. We have been begging for tables for of combat grade knives and this year they delivered. It was awesome to see so many combat grade knives that ran the gambit. So no this was not normal but hopefully this is not the last time it is like this.

Two things: How much were the NMFBM going for? I just wanna know how much of a difference 1st and 2nd market prices are.

And in the pic with the desert sand series blades, if you look in the top right corner there is an $800+ price tag on something...anyone have the answer?...all you can see is the butt of the handle

Edit above...i cant tell but in the next series above it seems like I can see the 800+ knife if its the same frame as the one James 61 took....what is that? like a custom shop FSH?

Not my pic. (mymindisamob)

After carefully looking at mymindisamob's pics and mine the tags were likely attached to tthe top two knives in this pic. The top one is a custom shop FBM and the next one down is a custom shop FSH.

Hope this helps

Thanks for posting all of the great pics. I see at least one MS combo I need to buy at Knob Creek now. ;) Jealous... I wish I were there.

Jerry, seriously...this was everything you said it would be and more....Look at all the models available.

For the HOGs at Blade: were there as many model/selections as at blade west??

Any KZ's there?

My one regret was waiting on/thinking about a couple of FSHs. Next thing I knew they were all gone.

Oh, I hate 'em alright. . . What you are seeing on those tables are leftovers from people who sobered up before paying for their SAR 5 orders and then cancelled, leaving us to search for folks with VERY impaired vision.

Yikes!!!!!

Jerry :D
