My Blade West score!
P9120428.jpg

Thanks to all the guys at the Busse booth, and thanks to Matthew Caldwell for the modified SpecOps sheath!

I DO like that one! Mmm hmmmm... I like that one a lot. Nice score!

Here are my lowly scores. Top is a glamour shot of the awesome Boss Street. Second is a Black/Black Paper AD at .180, third is a Satin/Black Paper Sabre Cut SFNO, and finally another AD in Gray/Black Paper at .140.

I wish there would have been a few more of the Public Defenders & original Mean Streets. And I'm also kicking myself for not picking up an FBM while I was there. Always second guessing choices I guess.

Overall I'm happy to get the blades I got. I really didn't need more AD's, but I really wanted some blades with Black Paper handles.

It was great to meet Garth, Waz, Mikeymoto and a few other guys there.

Already looking forward to next year.

Didn't take too many pics, mostly what others have already covered.

Waz and myself.

Blade West was Awesome, I'm sorry I Couldn't have stayed longer the times I was there. It was really cool to meet Garth, Waz, Troy, Randucci, Mike and everybody else that I saw there. I was in HOG Heaven with all the INFI around:eek::thumbup::D

What a great show!! A big thanks to Waz and Garth for making the trip, it was fantastic to meet you both, glad we had some sunshine to offer instead of the usual grey skys and rain. Also thanks to the BOSS HOG for sending that sweet combat grade INFI our way.

To everyone who posted here...

Nice pix, great scores!!! :thumbup::thumbup:

...But I hate you all!!!

;) :D:D:D

Thanxx for the pix!

Man that FSH with the Sandstorm G-10 is sick!!!

How thick is that thing?

Three INFI kids stowed away in my pack and I discovered them upon arrival back at Rok Central.

SAR5, tanker gray blade with black micarta scales (Boss Hog, please avert your eyes.... I know how much you love these guys :D )
SAR5_62a.jpg

High Street, I think it's satin with black paper micarta. Much more utilitarian appearance in real life than in the previous pics I'd seen. So when Garth dropped the price to "irresistable" level, I got sucked in. The Power Of The Trough is strong!!!

Boss Street prototype, special Stealth Mode turned on. ;) :D

Man, those sar 5's were so tempting... if I didn't snag so much other stuff, I would have grabbed one of those too.

They didn't have any in BAMA CLAY did they???

I don't remember seeing any Bama Clay SAR5. Not that it means anything for me to say "I don't remember..." about anything that occurs after the instantaneous glazing-over of my eyes that happens when I approach The Trough.

No, no, you MUST be right. There was no Bama Clay. I'm sure of it.

That way, I don't feel bad for missing out

When the SAR5 were introduced (and mostly sold out) at KC in spring 08, I don't think that Tanker gray was one of the color choices. So my guess is that Busse has a few SAR5 blade blanks around, for warranty claims, and finished a few off. If that is true, then, in theory, you might be able to get one done in 'Bama Clay.

for some reason I thought bill was much older then that. it's funny, I've become very selective when it comes to busse knives and tactical knives that are in the same catagory (ergonomic machined handle scales, very eye catching lines, as seen in okudens table and the busse tables), but when it comes to bill siegles knives I look at that table and think "I want ALL of that."

so simple, so beautiful.

I hear you on that. The red handled blade on top looks good!!
