TheHorsewright small buckaroo (trapper size). works well with this knife. Dangle it from your belt or belt loop and it doesn’t sit sideways in the bottom of your pocket. I hardly know it’s there.

These buckaroos are great slips. Keeps you from dropping the pouch in the brush. Nice soft buffalo that ages well. I am jelly. One of these days I hope to get one. Release it, my friend. Open a pack of bacon, sharpen a stick, peel an apple and stare endlessly into the distance.So . . . the knife remains in its tubular prison. I fully intended to carry and use it right away, but something is stopping me. Maybe I need a special occasion? It would make a spiffy gift opener at Christmas . . .

This knife was meant to be used. Taking the first step is the hardest, i get it, but it's time. It wants to be used.
You'll never know how great it is until you use it.
