BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

I guess I've just been staring at 1940 ish and earlier jigged bone too long, nothing about these covers appeal to me. Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder and I'm happy for the people who see this as a beautiful knife! GEC builds the finest modern slipjoints that I have had the pleasure of handling but they occasionally come up with some of the ugliest covers imaginable! Again, this is just my perception and none of this is intended to offend anyone. I very much appreciate the time and effort Spark and others from past forum knives have put into providing our members with a new Blade Forums knife every year. I have my tracking number and will eventually decide whether to have the covers replaced or put it on the exchange, a darker dye is not an option for me. Enjoy your new stockmans
I agreed up until the wife asked me why all my knives looked like autumn jigged bone and stag, she said how boring and asked why I had no purple which is her favorite color,so on her advice I traveled from my safe space and found I'm a happier man for it,variety is the spice of my new life.ps:maybe darker would be nice lol.

Or purple! 😱

Fresh out of the tube is #007.

All pictures are untouched & unedited under a cloudy day today.

Blade is sort of a satin, somewhat reflective, but not a mirror finish at all. I really like the lighter colors on mine.

Really smooth and easy pulls, beautiful click and lock up, very solid feeling, it feels strong and ready for work.

Thank you Spark Spark for all of your time and effort, it’s perfect to me ❤️👍

That sounds familiar, "That knife is brown just like the others"... "No honey, this one is different & that one is different than this one & here's why"... Then I just start my rambling explanations while my wife just rolls her eyes...
She understands & supports my madness, she just doesn't necessarily agree with it 🤣

Got tracking! Spark putting in the weekend hours, thank you!

I'm in the tracking number club too, just got it from Spark - thank you!

Spark Spark is definitely burning the midnight oil & putting in the work to make this happen! I hope he knows how much we appreciate his efforts. A simple thanks just doesn't seem enough, but just to echo the porch & all of the BF family, Thanks again Spark for all of your hard work!

P.S. meako meako , I can't wait to read your writing contribution on the tube in person!
