BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

You probably won't be too far behind the rest of us. The August bunch was a preorder. We have been waiting for the knives to be made. Spark now has them all, so it is just a matter of how soon he can sort them out and pack them up for shipping.
ok great thanks. I just noticed one of them showed up in the slipjoint knife exchange forum thread and wondered if I should buy or keep waiting. I'll keep waiting! :)

My Blade Forums annual pocketknife arrived today at High Noon (do not forsake me oh my……). It is every bit as nice as the ones already pictured above and it checks all my boxes in what I look for in a nice pocketknife. The W&T is right at a 7 on the Clip, a 6 on the Sheepfoot, and a 5-1/2 on the Spey. There is no blade rub between the Clip and the Sheepfoot blades (that’s fairly uncommon in a Stockman pattern), the springs lie perfectly flat while closed and when the blades are fully open, F&F is right on as well - bone to frame on all meeting edges is smooth as glass. The color is mid-range from what I have seen so far - very pleasing to the eye (maybe a half shade darker on the pile side). I even got my requested number of 117, my old OA Lodge number from my boyhood and early teen years. Finally the matte finish on the blades is a very nice touch vs. highly polished. Thank you Spark and thank you GEC - you guys have really upped your game over the years. OH

Beautiful! Old Hunter, I know if it satisfies you, most of the rest of us will love it. Thanks for sharing.

Say hello to #24. What a “big” beautiful knife. Love the scales, both the color and the jigging. Look at the size of this thing in relation to one of my Case 75 patterns. I tried to get the center pins lined up with both knives. If there ever was a King of the Woods stockman, this is it. Prior to this knife the 2014 knife was my favorite, but not anymore! Thank you to everyone who wrestled this project to the ground! Well done as always!

Checking in with today's delivery. I requested a certain number, with a backup number, then backed that up with no big deal, whatever it is. I got the whatever. Lol. Love it. Like it better in hand than even in the pics. Thanks again for all involved with all it takes to make this happen.

This begs the question... Does this make for a Happy Angus? 🍻
