On my computer, 8-1 is a Mike Ruth, Jr. "Moran" fighter and 13-2 is a Christensen Carved Ironwood.

What am I missing?

post 13 has been adjusted in the meantime. There is a great looking Newton I remember but I don't have a pic. Walrus ivory handle with a fleur de lis worked into the handle.

Some GREAT knives already. We could close it off right now and already easily find five worthy finalists. In fact, there are several makers who have multiple knives worthy of the final five, IMO. I guess us Neanderthal collectors of big fixed blade custom knivess are not quite dead yet after all.

Post 13 was edited by it's author to remove the duplication. And I agree with you - I'd have a hard time picking 5 right now. That's why this stage is always my favorite.
