So much awesomeness on this page alone.

I've thanked the makers, but I'd also like to give a big shout out to the photographers. The talent pool in this field has certainly grown over the years, and it has been so fundamental to our ability to enjoy and share our appreciation of fine blades in this virtual arena. Cheers, gents.

This thread serves to drive that^^ message home for me.

Norbert my friend - that knife is fantastic, but has already been nominated by parfum at post 62. Perhaps he can add in the additional (and excellent) pics to his post. Multiple posts showing the same knife will cause problems in counting the votes - most likely in votes for the knife being missed or lost.

Did I mention I love this knife? :)

disregard my post...sorry i forgot that this one was nominated last year... forgive my mistake
regards, fred

Cheers Norbert - please encourage parfum to add your additional pics to his post - some of those angles really show off the dramatic lines of this piece.

It's done for the pictures add about the Sam's Walrus Bowie, I am sorry Roger, the European collectors gives you some more work.... :)

Roger, not being a huge Bowie fan, I seem to wait awhile before checking out this annual round-up of yours that's become perhaps the biggest tradition of this subforum. I have not yet checked out even one post, but the journey is about to begin. One need not love Bowies to certainly appreciate them. So I look forward to the journey.

I'll weigh in with a couple of mine :o Sorry for the crappy photos, but we don't have any Coops, Chucks, Calebs and many other fine photographers down here.

Not at all - I am glad to have my friends from across the pond participating.

Happy to have you here Bob, I look forward to finding out what appeals to your very experienced eye.

Gary - I dig that D-guard.

Get 'em in gents. Some time between when I wake up tomorrow and when the football games start, I'll close off nominations and let the voting for finalists commence.

Please hold your votes until then.

A couple more for your consideration

1. Fisk (if someone has a hi-res pic of this one, please e-mail it to me at pinnocr@hotmail.com)

My Bowies were rather subdued this year, spent a bunch of time on Daggers.

I do want to show this one off again, though. Besides, it may be the last look at Pre-Ban Ivory...
