Not an easy task...lots & lots of great stuff to pick from.

Post 1 #4 Dave Lisch D-guard. Cool combination of traditional & unique touches. All of Dave's knives were stellar.
Post 8 #1 Mike Ruth Moran Fighter. Love Mike's ability to blend an ultra aggressive profile into a traditional knife.
Post 13 #1 Bruce Bump Judge Roy Bean Bowie. Such craftsmanship from end to end.
Post 21 #1 Bruce Bump Gold Rush Bowie. I just keep on staring at it, plus I'm a sucker for amber stag & blued fittings.
Post 21 #2 Kyle Royer #153. Maybe the most refined work we saw this year.
Post 36 #2 JR Cook. Every component is exceptional. Might be my favorite steel from this past year.
Post 67 #3 Kyle Royer #147 Ivory & Damascus. Details, details, details... and Kyle gets all of them just right.

This has been very difficult decision after much thought this is my selection.

This has been very difficult decision after much thought this is my selection.

Post 45 #1 Bowie. Ben Seward
.

Big Rick - post 45-1 is a Ron Newton knife, not Ben Seward. Please clarify. We want to tally the vote where you intended.

Ahhhh...my favorite thread of the year! Thanks Roger and Lorien!!!

Post 1 #1 Fisk "Way of Saint James": Stunning details as only Jerry executes them. Super duper clam shell and swoopy guard. So fine!

Post 2 #3 Lurquin: All the attributes I like about Sam's knives in a jumbo package. A "hack off a limb" fight knife.

Post 7 #1 Hanson: Primal, natures skull crusher. Mad ivory and smokin' hamon. I am fortunate to own a number of Don's knives, this is one I want "real bad".

Post 13 #1 Bump "Judge Roy Bean": Classy, classy, classy! Carving, engraving, damascus...all come together to form a stunner of a knife.

Post 13 #6 Hanson Sticker: Love the looooong blade and fine ivory. Simplicity in a smooth design with fine materials, craftsmanship, and form. Another I want to own.

Post 21 #3 Royer 155: Smokey hamon, beautiful carved wood, class act engraving. Love it!

Post 22 #5 Knight: When Knight and Paranee get together...watch out. Rough, rugged, and raw...hardcore. No excuses functional beauty.

21-1 Bruce Bump -Gold Rush Bowie - This is downright beautiful and special mention to Jere Davidson for the engraving is perfectly designed to elevate this knife.
21-2 Kyle Royer - I somehow find this in contrast to ^^ as it's handle seems almost minimalist with the ivory. It's such a clean looking handle and it complements so well that mesmerizing damascus.
22-2 Sam Lurquin - Peck Award Knife - Hard to not include one of his knives this year but to me this is most iconic of his style.
24-1 Rick Marchand - The knife I would pick if I could take one to use. Love it!
48-2 Rodrigo Sfreddo - This is just so elegant with the gold leaves and how they are tied into the sheath makes for such an attractive package.
78-1 JR Cook - The quillions are just a bit to small for me to call this my all out favourite but boy there is a lot to like in this one.
81-5 Joe Keeslar - This is a deceptively "rough" looking knife that really shows someone who is in control of his work. There's not a hair out of place.

Post13 #2 Christensen Carved Ironwood
The "unity" is excellent.

Post21 #2 Kyle Royer #153
The knife have different delicate taste.

Post37 #2 Larry Fuegen Cowboy Bowie
The uniqueness.

Post84 #1 Lurquin Fighter
The handle taste and total flowing line.

With much appreciation to Roger, in particular, for getting this annual tradition started and keeping it going.
Lorien for volunteering his time as well,
and all the wonderful makers and collectors who participate.

ALL WINNERS just to get here !
Thank you !

#1 3. Russ Andrews Stag Southwest, love the overall profile, the steel, the fitments and the gorgeous stag.

#2 1. Nick Wheeler Heart of Oak Bowie, everything a Bowie should be and rare use of oak.

#8 1. Mike Ruth Jr. Moran, What an ST-24 homage.

#9 1. Larry Fuegen Ancient Ivory Fighter, mind blowing carving and steel !

#12 2. Jason Knight, bad to the bone wide blade and very well done harpoon clip and oal blade shape.

#22 2. Sam Lurquin, Peck Award 'nuff said.

#22 5. Jason Knight Combat, it looks so right I'll bet it even dances.
