Bladeforums BEST BOWIE 2014 - Voting CLOSED - Finalists Selected!

I think the pieces that are integral construction should be identified as such.

This made a difference with the judging committee at the Seattle Show....coming down to two very different but both elegant and beautiful integral bowies as finalists in the Fixed Blade Category.

A Quesenberry Bowie is integral, as is the Ursa from Adam DesRosiers.

My .02.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

That Quesenberry Dogbone is integral, as is the Ursa from Adam DesRosiers.

Their is an integral Quesenberry Bowie but the Dogbone is frame handle.

I don't think this one has been nominated yet. Full integral handle scales proud fit all the way around the tang. Nicely domed pins. I think this was one of Mike's MS submission knives.

Most of my choices have been posted, so I will share the one Bowie I made this year.

#1 - Tendick walrus Bowie

It would be unfortunate to NOT show these knives which I have had the privilege of photographing this year.

Many SBC maker projects have already been shown. Glad to see that!

My nomination for this year... picked this one up at Blade 2014 from the man himself. :)

1. Jason Knight Damascus Fullered Bowie w/ Blackwood handle and his 'aged' steel guard.

Bravo to Jim and all the rest of you folks for some fantastic knives and another outstanding year....

think this is the only one all year but it was fun and being a Marine has lots of meaning.
