We cannot police what people sell on their sites. That's not our job or place. We can only control what's sold here on the forums. Selling of clones on the forums is not tolerated. Selling outside the exchange areas is not tolerated.

I guess the the price for betrayal can still be bought for a few gold coins.

AYFKM. How about you GFY dude? I don't know what's more tasteless, the implied antisemitism, or that you view yourself as some version of Jesus.

If I purchase those through a "supporting dealer", and subsequently decide they're "not for me", can I sell them on the exchange, assuming I purchase the appropriate membership?

I believe the answer to that would be a no...

Simple question. Does topomart stay or go as a bladeforums supporting dealer?

I sincerely appreciate the response. I get that it would be impossible to police every one and I respect it's a tough spot. It's just this one seems so wrong.

I still don't get it. Must be aliens...

I really do understand not being able to comb over everything every supporting dealer sells. That would be unreasonable in not only the time it would take but also judging the grey area could get very subjective. Heck, I understand not wanting to make judgments on what dealers sell at all. I can see the extremely slippery slope that can become.

There is nothing subjective about what topomart is though. No grey area. They sell knives made by the big clone making companies, and that is all they sell. They sell directly from China to boot. This is nothing more than an aliexpress type storefront or an ebay seller. Zero redeeming value to the knife community.

So it appears that this vendor will remain. That's unfortunate. I understand having to draw a line, slippery slopes, and all that. But this dealer is full of clones. It's hard for me to understand why $350/yr is worth allowing the forum to have that vendor carrying the same weight as the likes of CollectorKnives, DLT Trading, New Graham, Knife Center, etc. Members who want to find that kind of budget stuff, not even meaning the clones, don't have to look far to find it. It's not like they have to come here for recommendations on $20 knives. And I doubt most of them stay anyway.

Your house. Your rules.
