I can't recall another BHQ exclusive that had such a lonnnnnnnng buildup to being released.

As if that's needed. It's going to sell out in < 5 mins anyway
 
I remember hearing early 2016 at the latest. Even the knifeworks one hasn't been released. I'm also wondering about the Janisong. Want one before they sell out, but not sure if bladehq or any other site will have them since spyderco is stating there will be no domestic sales of it (which is super weird)

Yeah they had better do a full run of 2000 on this so everyone has a fair shot at buying one. I believe 2k is the cap they put on all sprint runs.

The first green pm2 seemed to take 2 years! It didn't, but was a long wait. Believe 204P was tricky.

The Janisong isn't going to be sold by any US retailers.
You'll have to pick one up from overseas.

The only website I found that offered them is currently out of stock (until May, or so they say)

I thought I had heard "3rd quarter". 3rd quarter starts in about 2 weeks then goes through the end of September.

It's probably still in the works, but at a much higher price. I was hoping they would come out after the BHQ model. I think the BHQ model will put a large hole in the internet for awhile, the usual meltdown. Once the dust clears I'm sure that there won't be any of the BHQ models available for the ordinary person to buy, but then when the KW models come out later and at a higher price, the flippers/scammers may be less interested and us ordinary people will have a chance.
 
They are probably going in order. Think KW put their M4 Para order in first, before BH. Read somewhere KW M4 Para due in September.
