Often the CC knives get shipped at the front of the production run, and some inevitably wind up on eBay, so there may be a sort of heads-up when these are coming over the horizon.
 
Just curious about the specifics of "dealer exclusives". My understanding (and feel to correct me if I'm wrong) is that "sprint runs" are limited to a certain number of knives in a certain configuration. When the sprint run is over it's done and the knife manufacturer will never produce that knife in that configuration again. This increases the desirability of that item and potentially increases the value later in time. A dealer exclusive depending on the success of sales can produce the knife configuration again once the original run is over in an unlimited degree. I've noticed that BladeHQ has not indicated how many are being produced in this first run. Not trying to knock BladeHQ as they are where I've bought my knives from and have provided stellar service. Just trying to wrap my head around the "process".
 
BladeHQ's exclusive Spyderco ParaMilitary2 CPM-M4 with Natural G-10 should be available for order this coming week based on BladeHQ's Instagram post yesterday: "M4 Paramilitary 2 in natural G10 you've been wanting for the past year? Watch for it next week!!!"

I hope I get that email. For the record, I'm feeling like I prefer the pre-order method at this point. We'll see I suppose.

There email notification is usually slow and on something like this you may be out of luck. I'm going to stock the new arrivals page myself.

I contacted BHQ a few days ago about this knife and was told the following. Take it however you want.

1. In the past, emails have gone out late, as in after the knife was actually available on their site. The person to whom I spoke (don't remember the name) acknowledged this and said that it would be different for this knife, i.e. that emails would definitely go out before the knife was available on their site. Why this time will be different I don't know.

2. As of the time I called, they had not yet received any knives, collector knives or otherwise.

3. As of the time I called, they did not have a definitive date of when they were expected to arrive.

4. As of the time I called, the guy I talked to said he had no idea how many they were expecting to get in, even though it is a BHQ exclusive.

5. As of the time I called, there would be a limit of 3 allowed in a shopping cart. I do not know if that means you can make multiple purchases to the same name and card if you want to by one for everyone in your neighborhood.
 
I just informed my wife that she will have computer duty this week while I'm at work haha.
 
I had a similar experience when I was on the email list for the Millie 52100... Never got an email but I just happened to be on the site looking around and they were back in stock again. I ordered as fast as my fingers could fly and it should be here Monday or Tuesday. :)
