BladeHQ Para 2 exclusive M4 w/ Jade G10

Looks like they are getting the CC errors cleared up, I just got an email verifying my payment did go through, shipping number next.
 
So I ordered right when they went online, got the error email, resubmit the order, got a second payment error email, tweaked the billing address info submit a third order and that one went right through with the confirmation & shipping emails shortly thereafter.

This was all before hopping onto the forums and seeing that the CC processor crashed. So I know that I've definitely got one on the way, but to make things even more strange I checked my CC statement online and it's showing two pending orders. Not one, not three, but two...so I don't know which of the first two error orders actually went through.

I sent them a reply email from the first fudged up order, letting them know that they could free that one up for someone else just in the last 10 minutes, but honestly I have no idea how many are headed my way, LOL.

Good news is I'm okay with 1, 2, or 3 so now it's just wait and see...I'm glad I got at least one shipping confirmation though! Psyched about my 1st Para2, I've always really liked them but wanted an upgraded steel and a good price on the s90v's are nonexistent. Loving the Jade/M4 combo...

I'm an Aussie so have to email my reference order over to complete the transaction. I would think the process is fair and they hold to the fact I do want to purchase two as per there policy for international customers. Hopefully it goes through for the pair I want to buy.

This will be my first M4 blade. Any suggestions for care? I live in south east Ga where it is humid and somewhat near the coast.

I picked up 2 so one will be a safe queen/backup , I should keep it oiled up? And for my user, is a patina going to be unavoidable? Thanks
 
Now you can only buy 1 at a time. Shows only 1 in stock when trying to ad another at checkout(not that I am trying to buy another, just wanted to see if it would let me select 2 or 3)

If they come with a desiccant, then store your safe queen with the desiccant and that should be all that is needed. As far as your user goes, use it often, oil periodically and the rest will take care of itself.
 
I bought mine to be a user.

I logged on & ordered @ 10:01MST. I shortly received the email about CC issues. I just got the email from BladeHQ saying that my order is good & they've processed my CC. Checked my account on BladeHQ & my order is there! Looking forward to the shipment confirmation.
 
Placed an order for one “Spyderco M4 ParaMilitary2 Knife Natural G-10 (C81GM4P2)” at 9:00am PT on the dot and the order went through fast.

However, it did not show up on my BladeHQ Order Status page and there was no pending charge on my CC. At 9:10am PT I received a "Payment Error" email from BladeHQ but saying "We'll keep the items you placed in your order on hold for 48 hours". I tried calling but their lines were busy. I emailed back that "Payment Error" email and received a response at 10:15am PT:

"Hey Awesome Customer!
Like you, we are excited for the Exclusive M4 Paramilitary 2!
We took precautions to prepare our servers to handle the throngs of customers that were going to submit their orders at release to grab one!
Our credit card processor was warned to expect a spike in volume in anticipation of the release but were still unable to process all the payments as they came in.
As a result, your order is being held for you while we resolve the payment processing. Any duplicate orders or quantities of more than 3 knives will be cancelled.
You’ll be sent another email with confirmation that your payment has been successfully processed, followed with an email containing your tracking details as it’s ready to ship out.
If we have any questions or concerns regarding your order, we will contact you by phone to resolve those with you.
We appreciate your patience while we work through this process!

At around 10:30am PT I checked my CC again and there's a pending charge of $159.99 from BladeHQ!

However, as of 11:00am the order is still not on the BladeHQ Order Status page.

I'm sure it'll be fine...

It took a while but I just received an email from BladeHQ entitled "Order Approved!" and stating:

"You likely received an email saying your credit card was declined or there was a problem with your order. You were probably bummed and shed missed knife opportunity tears. We’re sorry about that. Our credit card processor couldn’t handle the beautiful knife knut fanaticism and we crashed their system. But we have good news! It’s all fixed now and we have processed your credit card. Your order is getting ready to ship. If you are still experiencing issues or you don’t receive a shipment notification within 24 hours, please contact our customer service at 1-888-252-3347."

My order now shows up on the Order Status page and I'm just awaiting a shipment notification!

Had my phone glitch out when I hit the order button.....Twice! (Wouldn't load, server not responding.) Third time it went through. Come to find out all three orders processed. I only needed one. So just got off the phone with BHQ, two more instock and one shipping my way. BladeHQ handled this like a champ!
