BladeHQ Para 2 exclusive M4 w/ Jade G10

Bleach would only be on the surface. But only one way to find out. Go for it.
 
Really curious how many they just sold. Being early in the day I'm sure not many people saw this. No email went out either.

There are quite a few scale makers with the cnc specs for the pm2 that would probably mill you a set allowing you to keep the original jade scales in good shape.
 
I got mine yeaterday and I couldn't be happier. I love jade and when the blade forms a patina it's going to look even better. Fit and finish is superb, smooth and no lock stick.
 
anyone got one with a weak detent? i know this is a relative opinion type thing. mine seems real good, just curious if anyone feels the detent is weaker than their other para models?
 
My detent seems fine. This is the only PM2 I've ever handled so I can't compare, though.

That said, I really like it. I've liked a lot of spydercos more in pics that in person (preference, not a knock on the knives!), but I dig this one.

If yours is the order I am looking at right now, then the tracking says delivered today. If it's not PM me with the order number and I will do a little bit of digging.

These look awfully close to natural don't they? If that's the case I'm sure the color is through the whole thing. So I guess I answered my own question. Does clear g10 exist?

I've never seen clear G10 but have seen a few clear scales.
I made a simple set with smoked Lexan a couple of years ago and they held up well.

so my order was supposed to arrive today. Came home from lunch to sign for it, never happened. Checked mailbox, wasn't there. Tracking info still has last update as leaving SLC.

Anyone else's delayed??:mad:

I had the exact same issue. It showed up a day later. If it doesn't show movement by tomorrow, you can contact BHQ. The USPS will take a missing report after seven business days. As in my case, it will most likely sort itself out. My fingers are crossed for you and the others in the same boat. Hang n there.
 
Picked mine up today at the post office. Both are perfect. I forgot how awesome the PM2 is, haven't had one for a while. One went straight into my pocket. I'm thinking of treating it with a little frog lube when I get home and let it patina naturally from there.

What do most do with sharpening this type of steel? Keep the original bevels or put a micro bevel on it after it loses the initial sharpness?

I forgot how tight the clips are on PM2's. The combination of the tight clip and the aggressively textured G10 has already started shredding my pocket in less than 24 hours!

Has anyone sanded down the area under the clip to make it less of a pocket shredder?

Just kidding! :D I wanted to make mine a little different. I figured it would show dirt eventually, so I do a little black RITE dye treatment. It ended up a blue/gray, which is fine with me.
