  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Blades & Bourbon

It's good for the price of $16. but I agree it's not great.
Jim Beam's Distiller's Cut is around $19 in Total Wine, for non-chilled filtered 100 proof bourbon it is great value for what you're getting. Otherwise in the $30-$50 price range they are plenty of good pours available, MGP or just classic bourbons...
Lately I've being getting High West Double Rye and I have to tell you - it is great and I think well priced...

Tonight's pour ! Cheers everybody!
Not particularly rare but some how hard to find: Montechristo Reserva Negra,
1792 Ridgemont Resrve, Barrel Sellect and my 1 of 100 made, Manly Autos, over design of some Russian prisoner as far as I can remember the history behind the knife.

High wheat content gives it a nice natural sweetness, I recommend it to folks that ask for a mellow nightcap.
Also makes a tasty perfect manhattan with Carpano Blanco and Antica, with orange bitters and a lemon twist to counter the sweet.
