Same with me. I think a lot of folks start with MM and move on as they try other bourbons.I'd enjoyed a lot of regular Maker's Mark over the years and then just drifted away from it. It wasn't that I stopped liking it. I just drifted towards other stuff. Trying this French-Oaked variety was a revelation. The flavor or aroma is just a bit brighter in a way that really unlocks it for me.
