Photos Blades on Hikes

Lesson Learned:
Yesterday hiking at Mastadon State Park on the northern edge of the Ozark mountain range, it got so warm I stripped off my hoodie and tied it around my waist. On my way back to my truck, I untied my sweatshirt and my BK11 was pushed out of its factory sheath. Oops! I hope it's next owner appreciates it as much as I did:rolleyes:

Sorry that your knife came out of its sheath. Bummer way to end what was probably a good time. 😞

Wife is doing the logistics (place to stay and when, food, drop off/pick up) for my NY thru Pa to Ohio hike in 6 weeks. Time sure is flying by.
And she likes knives too!! 😂
Figuring on 4-5 weeks at 6 days each.🤔

sorry to hear this and fortunately, the blade didn't hurt you.
BTW, that is the reason I haven't regularly bring the Mule with me for hiking, the factory sheath (Mule Team™ Leather Sheath (MTLSH)) cannot stable lock the knife inside, easy to slip off, though something has been added (sorry don't know how to call this parts)

so, though I love the Mule so much, but for safety reason and for the caring of the knife, I have to keep it in my kitchen.

Another sunny 60deg day on the NCT !! And another 10.5miler solo. Saw a bunch of deer and squirrels today. First I have seen deer in that area. Think I will rest tomorrow and hit it again on Thursday. Gotta get my legs in shape for next month!! 🥴😂😂
