Photos Blades on Hikes

Much better today, remembered the spikes and musher's secret. Snow was more packed from other folks using the trails yesterday, and was 25°F, so it was just harder snow :)

No crazy snow balls in the feet, and he was able to find a few pine cones, so he was a happy boy:

Cool spot. Vic Classic and a MAM Operario is a great pair for a casual hike. I never carry anything bigger than my Swiss Army Pioneer for day hikes unless I’m doing serious overnight stuff where I might need to process wood. Less weight is always better.
 
Was on the cusp of being too cold.. truck temp showed 1°F and the phone said feels like -7°F, plus had to go early, so it was still very dark out:

He seemed relatively comfortable and still found a couple pine cones to chase:
