Photos Blades on Hikes

A couple from our time in HI the last two weeks - was great to wear short sleeves, shorts, and NO ticks - but my pup didn't get to come...

While we were out, it seems Maine had a mixed bag of more snow (at least another 8") and a few warm days, making for muddy, snowy, slow going conditions - but, there were TONS of pine cones for the little dude:

About 6 miles on trails today. Mid 50s (Fahrenheit) and partly sunny... supposed to be a snowpocalypse tomorrow, though as of now I think the wind will be worse than the 1-3 inches of snow we are forecast to get.

15V Para 3 along for hiking duty.

Trails are pretty dusty... we have some pretty bad prairie fires going here in Nebraska, fortunately nothing in my part of the state, but any precip will be greatly appreciated.

In a little side stream along the river, there were tiny fish stacked up in a dam of corn stalks that had blown then washed into place.
