Almost all of the edged implements I have had made and post are from Bob Appleby.. He was willing to take the voices in my head and put them to my specs based on designs I saw and liked.. But due to my specific past training with edged implements from southeast asia and the research in edged combat that I've done over the last 50 years, he hit the nail right on the head when I approached him with the tweaked areas for my preference..

That ostrich is sweet, just a trio of quill at tip. I am also a fan of the leg, which I think resembles what I imaging dragon to look like.

A saddle maker in Jefferson City MO made this one for me in the mid '80's. The knife originally belonged to my wife's uncle. It's been all over Alaska from his time there in the Air Force.
