I'm surprised to see that I haven't posted in this thread for over 2 months!

I know I've read a book or two in that time, and I see that I even have book photos saved to post here, but I can't remember the order in which I read the books. So I think I'll post a book that I found in the library of the town where we go on vacation in August. I know I've posted photos of the book in other threads, but I don't think I've ever posted it here.
Here is the book's cover. Since we were vacationing on the shores of Lake Huron and there's a reasonably big marina right across from the library and I had been working occasionally for several months learning how to tie some "classic" knots, this book caught my eye at the time:

What impressed me greatly is that the book was prepared by the author using hand-drawn illustrations and hand-written text!

Here are a couple of representative pages from early in the book. I enjoyed the way the author often pointed out relationships among various types of knots, and showed different techniques for tying a particular knot depending on the circumstances under which the knot was being tied.
