Reading on the iPad. The Smithsonian Libraries have a lot of interesting eBooks, free to download, for anyone wanting to go down that rabbit hole. I downloaded about 10 eBooks. Some old and interesting content.

Nice to see free downloads. That's what Google said they were going to do when they were digitizing all those public domain books. Actually, they did it for a while.

I had one in better focus, but it featured a distracting view of my ankles.

I have to admit that, even though I was raised in the wonderful Old North State, I have not read all 1313 pages of Professor Powell's book. It is handy, though - like a good knife.
