I'm having a tough time getting a good closeup shot in focus so hopefully this will be good enough to give you an idea. If the tang is fairly clean the blasting doesn't change much about the texture but if it needs more blasting to get it done, this is about what you can expect as long as you don't get too agressive. About like the texture of canvas but not "fuzzy", for lack of a better term.Looks real nice...have a great weekend of <ab>use with her and post up some after pics... plz, thank you!
One last request, handles look great too, could you get a good texture shot of them?

I'm liking it too but today every time I got it cleaned up and put away one of the other greasy fingered mechanics would come in and ask to handle it. Bet I had to clean the black paw prints off of it ten times. Lol! Luckily a little WD40 on a paper towel wiped them right off.The orange g10 is sweet.
Wow that looks amazing! I picked up an ASH2 in a grab bag, and love the handle and feel of the knife, but can't really fall in love with the hammered grey finish. Any idea what type of business or shop may do commercial beadblasting, so I have an excuse to keep my knife?
I've never used a soda blaster but a buddy of mine showed me an aluminum soda can that he blasted with one and it came out looking like chrome. Pretty sweet. I think it would make infi look awesome but I have to wonder how hard it would be to remove decarb with it, if it is gentle enough to polish a soda can." Clampdaddy "
Wow that looks great !!!! I'm a big fan of SOS orange, but wasn't feeling the ASH2. Now that I've seen yours stripped, I want one lol !!!!!!!
For blasting, I have a guy that has done some restoration work for me. He has a Dustless soda blaster I'm wondering how that would work, if I'm to score one even.
