Blasted my new ASH2

Here you go, MacLaren. I'm not 100% sure I like the shiny look on this one. Some of the machining marks really jumped out at me once it had a bit of shine to it. I think it would look great with black canvas but to my eye the orange handle would look better with a true satin finished blade. I'm going to give it a while to see if it grows on me but this one might be going back into the basting cabinet.

You are the king of frosted satin finishes. Kind of reminds me of the finishes I used to see Ban put on knives. I once owned a HHFSH with one of his frosted finishes and it was a sweet blade for sure.

Thank you for the compliment, but I'm just lucky to work in a shop that has a nice blasting cabinet and even luckier that they let me use it on my own personal stuff on my free time.

Thanx clampdaddy.
Looks incredible!
I agree, black canvas would really set it off.
Mine has Tequila Sunrise grips, so Im not sure how I would like it....at any rate like safetyman said, you got a real touch for that! The Ash2 is such a good looking blade.

I'm definitely going to invest in a cabinet setup.

Any recommendations for a compressor? Use would be limited to blasting a couple of blades a year.

Pretty much I would say you need to get a compressor that meets and preferably exceeds the CFS requirements of the cabinet. The cabinet that I use goes through quite a bit of air.
