Yeah, what is that? Right next to big, honkin' piece of shit in the middle. What is that modern marvel?

that pos is a backup to the rust magnet on the middle. those 2 are my loaner knives for my sheeple friends since they can't hold an edge long enough to be dangerous.

Blind Horse knives seem excellent and I can’t believe I don’t own one. I like their Bushcrafter and Work Horse line. Only thing I don’t like are D-ring sheaths, preferably not brown. I suppose the material options are kept minimal to keep cost down and I can appreciate that. One of these days I’ll probably end up with one for sure. I can say I’d have no reservations about buying one.

My sincere thanks to all who participated in this thread. I too, have had the same question about BH knives. I am a ESEE, Becker, Mora fan but I am always amazed at Jeff's straight forward, no BS answers about other knives and what makes the industry shake and move. To me, there are no better folks to deal with than Jeff and Ethan. Now, I may take a harder look at BH. I certainly don't "need" anymore knives (or guns) but that doesn't keep me from filling my "want" list.
Again thanks

I got a flat grind bushcrafter for xmas, really impressed so far. Limted to backyard wood prep for fireplace so far, hope to get out this weekend. Kind of a departure from my normal coated blades like esee and tops, but I'm really diggin it so far.

recently picked up one of their frontier first knives
they offered a special run with stag handles
a preference of mine...
its sweet little knife
been wearing it as a necker
lovely craftsmanship
came super sharp(why do so many knife makers and manufacturers send out dull knives....)
just an all around excellent little knife
carves up a storm
whittled out a couple atlatls yesterday
better than esee? no.... different? yes
thats one of the wonderful things about the world of knives
and one of the wonderful things about the esee forum
folks here get it
that theres not one do all end all knife or company
bhk price is also quite reasonable for the quality of blade you get
and these days, that means a lot here
am i gonna sell all my esees and buy bhks? no
but both companies will be represented in my toolchest of workhorse knives

Is this a poem or a song? :D

I think BHK is a great up & coming Knife company been around about 5 years I think ,Once funds pick up I know of 2 BHK I want to order /Buy

I have the Maverick Scout...great all around utility knife and I gave a Patch knife to a friend, great quality and great price, it was a monthly special. Dan and LT will answer just about any questions and are great to get info on their stuff. Great product and great customer service....a success in my book! Thanks Jeff for a good honest discussion in your forum about other products.....we all are learning when we can share ideas and opinions.

I have looked at the bhk's off and on for a while and just haven't pulled the trigger....I don't know why but i have always had a hardon of scandi grind knives....it was the easiest way to teach my oldest boy how to sharpen was to start him on a scandi grd. mora 510...he still packs that little blade in his pack....of course he has the izula flavored koolaid for his edc in the woods...

I picked up a used Long Trail on the forum awhile back. I've been very happy with it. It's size fits right between my IZULA and RC-3.

Always feel free to post any other makers or manufacturers knives here. We don't have a problem with that. Although we will move threads sometimes to the proper forum if we feel it will get answered better somewhere else. I find it downright comical and laughable when other forums get upset for someone posting another manufacturer's knives in their forum. I won't say which forum but our knives kept getting mentioned and the mods were coming unglued. Even threatened their own faithful members if they kept bringing our knives up. I loved it! It's almost like they think they own that poster and he will never wander away from their site to see what else is offered in the world, so they can't let any competition on their forum because it could lure the poster away. Hell, the forum member might just find out that all that koolaid they've been drinking is bullshit and realize there are better things in the world. Freakin' hilarious and egotistical. That's called thinking more of yourself than everyone else does. We heavily encourage koolaid drinking amongst our cult members here. But we also want them to know there are a lot of koolaid flavors, and for the most part, they're all pretty good!
I know of just a company. They are not on Bladeforums but another knife forum. I will never do business again. I found out what type of people and business people they were and the Kool-Aid ran dry within me.
If you mentioned another knife company they got all up in arms.

I only own their Large Tiger Knapp, I want a Bushcrafter w/ Scandi grind. The heat treat and grind edge are all excellent on my LTK. The kydex sheath is great quality, and the slide/lock is excellent.
I really like those guys as well, the fact that they offer different grinds on their knives is awesome!

I've used them in the jungle and on the farm. I have nothing but good things to say about their knives and the people who own BH. You will not find more honest people in this industry. In fact, the sheath tensioner on the ESEE-5 kydex sheath is a BH design and idea that we licensed from them.

If you ever get screwed by BH on a knife, I'll personally give you your money back. It just ain't gonna happen.

Wow. Jeff you're the best!
You inspired so much confidence into me right now, I'm buying another ESEE knife tomorrow!
